Question Headlight leveling system stay low after startup

I have a 2007 RR sport (4.2l SC)
The headlight leveling system does not work properly. At start-up it does it's dance. Both the headlights stay low after the dance. I can see that both headlights move left to right and up and down so the servo motors are ok. As the problem started after I was in deep water, literally, I suspect the height sensors. Where are they situated? Are they shared with the riding height controls? I see that the headlights have two modules in them. The one is the balast for the hid and the other control the servo motors. As both headlights started the problem at the same time and both actually do move, I suspect the sensors or maybe the module that send the beam angle signal to the lights. Where is this module situated? Hope you can make my anger over by placing the R back, regards R ange R over

I would have the ride heights and lights recalibrated with a land rover tool. Its most likely they lost something when you went in the water. Do this first along with looking at codes before putting parts in.

Thanks for the advice. I suppose this land rover tool is not a chunk of metal on the end of a stick but a game-console-like-thingy with a fancy plug that only the agent have?? Unfortunately I stay in Lion and Elephant country and the rover boys are no exception!:-)

Yes its called IDS, Plus you need a flat level ground to actually calibrate it.

if you live in lion country you need to invest in a hand held device that plugs in and can reset lights and let you do things like that.
