Wink Hello all, new owner of 1995 questions??

I am a new owner of a 1995 range rover with 3.9 engine,and have heater core I think issues?is the 3.9. The same as 4.0 heater core ? And it is left hand drive so will be attempting to replace or repair ,any help would be great..

Then pics of the heat core on this site are what I can use to fix heater core ,and have you ever fixed the leak on one of these ?

Also it's a range rover country classic 3.9l..if that helps here..

completely different heater core compared to a P38.

yes... the classics are different... the theory is the same though... you have to remove the center console, lower and center dash parts, disconnect all ducts and electrical from the heater box, remove the heater box and split the case...

Thank you, but how easy does all this stuff go back in? Cause you know once you mess with it doesn't usually work the same .but I guess th core is fixed!

its usually fairly easy to put a dash back together the way it came apart but i have noticed these vehicle are ery picky about which piece comes out r goes back in in a certain order. the knee panels are particularly difficult especially if someone has been in there before and messed them up (95% of the ones i have taken apart have been previously messed with)

have you already replaced it or did it just stop leaking?

No have not go at the core yet just trying to figure out what to take part, and floor boards are soaked ,so I think it's not the o ring seals but the whole core is shot..
