Hello, i am thinkin about purchasing a 2003 range rover and i need some help on what to look for when i test drive it. I am a little confused about purchasing this vehicle because it has 88k miles on it. I haven't seen it yet because it is 2 hours away from where i live but i read that it is in immaculate condition and that it was pampered. Always serviced at the land rover dealership and its got alotta extras for an 03.

Vehicle specs:

Black with charcoal interior ( i wanted beige)
88k miles (extended warranty included till sept 09 or 100k miles)
Rear entertainment with tvs in headrest
Brush guard and rear tail light guards
All the other standard RR features

I was thinkin about gettin the retrofit kit from ebay to turn it into the supercharged 06 look. It has been done and it seems like a simple upgrade, but one that is expensive. Any thoughts on this would help. If anyone knows what kind of labor time this requires let me know. the kit is sellin for $4800.00.

If i have any other question i'll let you guys know but my main concern is to get an opinion on this purchase and the upgrade.

 

For $4800 couldn't you put a real supercharger in?

 

What are you planning on using the truck for?

 

I will be using the truck as a daily driver. No intentions for off road or rugged terrrain driving...maybe. But why would i have to worry about that??
