Hi everyone!

I had intermittent horn only a couple of months ago before it stopped all together. The shop replaced the relay, and now I have exactly the same issue!

Can I bypass the relay at all or is that too dangerous?

Ordering parts here is not the easiest thing to do! Nor is driving without a horn!

It is probably the rotary coupler on the steering wheel that is the problem. That being said, it would be very easy to just wire up a push-button switch for the horn, with or without a relay. I would not bypass the relay while using the existing steering wheel horn switch. That could cause some really expensive problems. The horn is a pretty simple part of the car.

I had the rotary coupler replaced already. Then I was having no horn on and off and they replaced the relay, and now I have horn only sometimes again!

I'm wondering if perhaps they wired the rotary coupler in wrong? This is a non genuine dealer but they seem very good...

No idea what to do next really. Going back to the shop on Saturday so will update!
