I have 2004 HSE w/50,000 mi. The display on the radio just stopped working although the unit works and you can see dim light in the display without characters. Anyone had this problem? I am sure if I bring it in it will be $5,000 for a new head.

 

hmmm... might just be a vga cable that got disconnected internally. You will need to some how take the unit out and then take it apart to see if anything looks out of the ordinary.
