Default HSE or Supercharged Decision

So all of us had to make the decision to either go with the HSE or Supercharged. Why did you decide on one over the other?

With only a $14k difference I could have easily gone either way. The reason I chose the HSE was mainly because I didn't really need anything that the supercharged offered. I felt that the HSE had plenty of power for this vehicle (this is definitely not a machine I need to hot rod in) and it came equipped with everything I wanted. The only exception, I preferred the SC wheels so I added that to my car but besides that I am have been perfectlycontent.

Should I be in this situation in the immediate future...I would go with the HSE. The S/C seems like a mini-range

Are you thinking of the sport instead?

The S/C isn't worth it in my opinion. If I had only one car and wanted to drive a fast vehicle I wouldn't buy a Rover. To me Rovers are more about driving in style rather then driving with style.

But I have my maserati to satisfy those urges

As for the sport. It's not a Rover in my opinion nor would I ever drive one... just doesn't have the class or capability of the full size. Too each their own, but I wish Land Rover would have left the sport owners buying X-5's and Cayennes. Maybe it's just that I find most sport owners drive like insane belligerent maniacs whereas the full size makes that hard(er) to do. I honestly have only run into one sport that isn't speeding along dangerously and weaving in and out of lanes...
