Has anyone used the iridium plugs? Local shop tried to recommend them for use with the magnecor wires. They claim that they burn hotter and more reliably than the plat + 4's.

what year of rover do you have?

 

It's a 1998 4.0 SE. As far as I can tell the motor is pretty stock.

 

Don't waste your money on them, our engine do real well on the Plus 4's. I ran one set of plus 4's for 70,000 miles, then switched the the Iridium's and lost a little low end torque.

I found another site that had a tune up kit for $130 or so that included plugs, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it again. Does anyone else have a cheaper source?
