Hi, really hoping someone here will be able to help with my mystery green wire.

I have a 2008 range vogue and I'm just resembling the ps door mirror after replacing the motor and while checking the loom I found someone had added in this extra green wire. Nice job but not Land Rover so I'm trying to figure out what it's for before I put it all back together in case it was part of my failed motor problem.

Any idea?

 

No idea but i would wrap it well to make sure it doesn't short

 

Looks like a factory splice to me, unless you see it ending into some funky connector or cut end.

As Army Rover said, wrap it and move on.
