Default Need help removing center console rear portion

Hello, I'm trying to remove the rear center console with the rear seat warmer switches in it on a 2003 RR MKIII.

If anyone has done this please help, I want to re-finish my silver paint due to chipping.

Thanks very much.

Mike

The service manual should give instructions, or at least a diagram of how to take it off. Download it here: http://green-oval.com/joomla/index.p...d=13&Itemid=29

Tried that it's so vague and really didn't cover the rear, I guess I'll keep poking around or just break it

I've heard that's one of the most difficult pieces to remove. Have you tried BPUtah.com? They sell the piece and may have instructions. Otherwise, it may be worth not breaking it to shell out the hour's worth of labor or so at your local dealer or mechanic. We had a thread about peeling silver trim, and I managed to pressure my dealer into replacing it under warranty. Good luck.
