Default Nice Difference with Sport Mode

I usuallydrive my car in normal drive and usually don't shift into sport mode but boy what a difference it makes when I do. The transmission always seems to be in the right place, the rev's come up so the engine sounds great and you can really feel the amount ofpower that this engine has to offer!

I find myself enjoying the drive more in sport mode and might have to start using it more often

YES! I love keeping it in Sport. It gives it some serious oomph for a dang near 6000lb truck!

Ive never kept it in sport mode long enough to get a feel for gas mileage effects..but Im curious how it does. It seems like it keeps the engine in the power band more, and gets you up to speed much quicker so you can cruise at low rpm...hard to say!

It would be an interesting study to find out what the differences are between the two modes. My guess; 1.5 mpg

Actually it's not that bad. I drive with sport most of the time, sometimes I forget to hit the button again when I get in! Really wish there was a way to leave it on. I tested a full tank with it on and got 15 mpg which was only 1 less then what I was getting without it on. That small of a difference is worth it to me for the performance change.I'll have to remember to check and see if it's still doing 15 [>:]

Very nice, I am going to have to try it with my next tank. You are right, 1 MPG is absolutely nothing for the significant difference in performance.
