Default Oil Additive?

I looked in the oil filler opening of my p38 and it looks like it has a tad of sludge built up in there and was wondering if there is an Additive I could use to help clean some of it out. I will be putting some sea foam in the fuel tank here shortly, maybe that will clean things out a bit.

The noise on the transmission finally stopped when I replaced the transmission fluid and filter. Shifts are buttery smooth and NO MORE NOISE! I also put in a new air filter but, it wasn't a "genuine part" I tried finding a genuine one but Atlantic British just had some generic ones. Here is the link to the one I purchased http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/ESR341.cfm?bc=ab Will I be alright, or do I need to keep searching for a genuine one?

The generic air filters work just fine, if not better, then the OEM ones. Save yourself a few bucks and stick with the generic. The biggest thing about the filters is just to clean and replace them often.
