Oil leak at filter unit

I have 2003 RR with a major leak at the oil filter unit were the cover threads in. I find this unusual and wonder if this could indicate a oil blockage issue. Has anyone seen this before?

the oring was not replaced and thats probably why its leaking. better replace it or else it will explode all over the engine and onto the exhaust.
