Default our new car

Brought this home on friday. Being a life long land rover enthusiast and know the problems associated with them, I am L/R mechanic trained, I tried not to let SWMBO, from going to the L/R dealership. We looked at many diiferent ones. BMW and Audi would not warenty there drive train if we put a tow hitch on it She needs to tow for her job. So in the end she said we WOULD go to L/R and then bang, she fell for the Evoque. Its got more computing power than the starship enterprise but she loves it now. Personally I like simple so will stick with my 03 Discovery.

We believe you, really we do. Now get the Disco out of the garage so no parts fall off and scratch the new one....

I'm not a fan of a lot of the new "4x4s" but I really like the Evoque. It was fun to drive, had plenty of power, comfortable, did good on fuel, looks interesting, and is just a neat car. I just wish they kept the Evoque in its own class/look, and not let it influence the designs of the other models too much. Unfortunately it has and I've seen new pictures of the all new RR and am... well disappointed. Hopefully what they unveil is better than the pics I have seen thus far. The Evoque is still a fun little rig . Congrats on your purchase!
