P38 alarm goes off for no reason ...

Default P38 alarm goes off for no reason ...
1999 RR 4.0 GEMS with 198k miles.
Unknown reason - the car alarm goes off when car is in driveway at odd times.
Caused by sun? My question is: can I disconnect the alarm system? If so, how?

could be one of your door actuators going bad. temporary you can unplug each actuator, but you will loose automatic door locks, interior lights and tail gate.
