Default P38 Overheat Pt2

Ok leak was, UNDER the overflow tank, a BROKEN clamp, FIXED for $10.00. Drove the unit out to the land and KABOOM on a hose. See picture, NEED to find the HOSE now.
Looking down, Battery Box is in the UPPER left side.

I believe this is the hose.

LAND ROVER PARTS - HOSE - BYPASS/THERMOSTAT - R/R P38A TO WA392225

Are you experiencing high pressure in the radiator hoses?

Glad you found it, but with as much problem as you had would still suggest driving with scanner attached to verify temps inside (I don't trust gauge), no spikes, etc. Also, your wet carpet on driver's side may be a blocked AC drain in the transmission tunnel.

Have a Drive along scanner I use on a Ford Range plugs into the OBD. It is SUPPOSED to work on MOST cars will try it when I get the darn thing running again. The Water on the foot WAS a plugged A/C drain line.
The stupid thing ran for 101 miles before popping the hose.

Well, if you had HG work, and for some reason there is now higher pressure in cooling system, first it found the loose clamp on the bottle. Now an older hose (assumption on my part that hose may not be new). Perhaps more hoses are in your future. Take a look at Rovers North exploded diagram: 1999-2002 Range Rover P38A Radiator, Hoses, Cooling & Heating Parts Available from RoversNorth.com

THINK it is this one
LAND ROVER PARTS - HOSE - EXPANSION TANK-PIPE P38A
Will pull the old one to check.
The head gasket was not done BUT they replaced the radiator at the dealers. I agree with the Higher Pressure. I need to make sure about the shape of teh other hoses.
