i havea 1996 Range Rover 4.0 se. i want to sell it but it has ALOT of problems. the Transfercase has to be replace. the BECM has to be replaced. some if the interior is falling down. the clear coat on the car is fading. it has about 250,000 miles. it needs a steering stabilizer. the radio works but the screen is out. the air suspension doesnt work at all so you have to manually put air into the bags. and it has no front drive shaft anymore and if you want the 4x4 drive back the linkage or something in the transmission has to be fixed. and the oil pan has to be replace. oh yeah just for fun, my brother and i took the muffler and tail pipe off so it sounds like a redneck truck, which sounds pretty cool. but the motor runs great. the only thing is it leaks oil and since the BECM is screwed, it has some idleing problems.

if i were to sell this car, what should my asking price be.
i am about to get a 99 tahoe so should i just put a coverover the range rover and fix it in a couple of years when i have the money or sell it now.

please help me.

You really can't sell it as a used vehicle, sell it to some one who wants to part it out, or part it out yourself, you'll get more fore it.
By the way, if your BCU is bad you will also need an ECU from the same donar vehicle so they will work in your truck.
