Hello,Im new to the forum and Im not yet a range rover owner but I currently looking a 2001 4.6 w/ 81,000 miles for 13,800. the only problem I found was the radio wont turn on and the salesman doesnt know why,but he knocked off sum cash for it. Not uncommon for the radio to go on the blink. They seem to only last about 3-4 years for the P38. Mine came with an after market Kenwood and I refuse to pay the $1200.00+ the stealership wants for an OEM radio.
As far as your question about selling price, I paid $10,500 for an '02 4.6HSE with 77,000 miles about 6 months ago.
Does the radio light come on, does it ask for a code, have you checked your fuses including the one behind the radio and why ask the salesman, hell they don't even know where to put the gas in your truck, ask the service manager if you can't figure it out.
well its a family owned/small car lot so I think hes the main guy.I didnt really want him to fix it bc he knocked off a few grand bc it doesnt work ya know,so I was hoping I could get lucky and it be a simple fix but I guess Ill have to wait and see. Thanks for the help guys
