Default EMERGENCY ROVER ADVICE!

Hey all, in the middle of December,my truck got a "EAS FAULT" msg, dropped downandI haven't been able to drive her since(just the across-the-street-move for theweekly alternate side parking that we have in New York City). Yesterday I was attempting to move her once again, but my remote key doesn't work, and the key itself doesn't open the driver-side door. It just turns around-and-around after insertion. Someone PLEASE give me some advice as i don't think you can "Jimmy" these locks because they are electronic, is there any truth to that assumption? I'm sure my battery drained due to the cold weather and me not starting her regularly. What are myoptions as I wasn't planning on repairing the suspension until late January?

when the battery goes dead the remotes have to relearn the rolling code front the body
control module by turning the key in the door cylinder but yours is broken.
if you jump the rover from the main starter positive lead and engine block
the battery may have not gone completly dead and the remote MAY work
but since the rover is in access range you will have to jack the rover and
USE JACK STANDS!! to keep from getting squshed to access the starter.
the above advice is emergency use only so be carefull.

if you can pull up the lock rod and pull the door handle the door
will open, unless you have superlocked the rover (two presses of the lock botton)
2nd option is to wedge the top corner of the door frame and reach in with tool to
pull up the lock rod unless its in super lock mode.

Try going thru the grille to get to the hood release cable, then charge the battery and see if you can then unlock the doors.
