Default Range Rover as 1st Car

Alright guys well I'd love to get a black Range Rover as a 1st car. I was thinking probably a '99.

My price limit is 11,000, and I think I could find a pretty decent one around this price..
What do you guys think! What should I look for when looking?

Also I'd love to put on a set of black rims, but I'm really not sure what size will fit/ what tires.

Thanks Alot for your help!

If you are considering the 99, also consider the '02...it will likely have fewer miles, the hoses and belts will be newer and the price will still be reasonable. Go to eBay and search on Range Rovers in eBay autos. You are looking for completed listings...it will be a check box on the left side of the page once Range Rovers are displayed. It will give you a good idea of what prices sellers are accepting so you will know if you are getting a good price instead of looking in a used car price book.
I got my 99 from an eBay auction at 7000 dollars because no one bid against me on a no-reserve auction.
I think it was a good price for the vehicle.

I am concerned, if this is your first vehicle and your only thought is you want to put black wheels on. Are you ready for the expensive of keeping a Rover going, gas, insurance and especially repairs? Are you planning on taking this to school?
Not a very good choice for a first vehicle.
