Range Rover 4.4 ECU unit
I have a problem with my Boch ECU unit on my 4.4 petrol RR, is there anyone out there who know's of or can point me in the right direction for getting the unit repaired/checked, because if i have to get a new one it will cost a lot.
In my signatutre is a manual on the Bosch unit, many swap them out from junk yard, but companion BECM or BCU modules may have to be swapped at same time or programmed to the new module. Before all that fun, what prompts you to diagnose the module as bad?
I am taking the advice of my garage mech. as they only work on Landrovers and Range Rovers.
They tell me they have checked all the wiring and run the diagnostics and this seams to be the possible problem.

Used CPUs go for $20 - $50 at salvage yards near me, pretty easy to pull yourself. But may need a shop level computer to re-program to mate with the BECM unit. I suspect cost of analysis and repair of a unit would exceed that, but I could be wrong.
