Default Range Rover HSE 2010 Model

I would like to know how to add maps of other countries on my navigation system that is based on a hard drive that i don't know how to enter it. i have a road trip to a foreign country and my dealer can't help. so does anyone know how to add maps to my system.?????????????

actually it is the dealer that should be able to help. You are just the first soul to ask for a different map. Have I done a different country map update no. But they say it shouldn't be too hard. But when you do you will have to pay for your home country again.

If it's anything like 2008 HSE, then simply buy the map CD you need, eject your current version CD and install the new map. When you get home, reverse the process.

it is nothing like the 2008. 2010 uses a hard drive based information system.

not a dvd based system.

Okay, so it uses a hardrive? The info. still needs to be loaded from a source: CD, DVD, ext. drive,, and then stored onto the 2010 hardrive.
I doubt there sending a formated hardrive and the dealer is swapping drives....

you can only upload new maps and updates using the IDS diagnostic system at the dealership.
