Default Range Rover Runner Boards, Side Steps

Hi
Anybody out there had any problems with runner boards, side steps on the Range Rover TDV8?
These are just stuck and will not come out at all, the light on the switch in the roof trim for the manual override is not illuminated.
I have code read with IDS and its has 35 faults, but will not erase, I think it could be a fuse or wiring problem. Any help would be appriceated.

Hi
The ECU disconnect did not work, I also noticed the manual overide button in the headlining near the sunroof switch, the light is not working on that.
The side steps are just not moving at all.

Were they actually programmed to the vehicle.

They have to be programmed with Sdd to get it to work.

Hi
Yes there are programmed, they worked perfectly for years, this is a 2007 vehicle, and suddenly they just stopped working and are stuck in.

The door switch seems ok, it puts the interior lamps on and off.
We have found a 10amp fuse under the bonnet blown and it just keeps blowing, it is in the fuse box under the bonnet which has a plastic lid bolted on top, we tried to disconnect both steps and the fuse still blows, we cannot locate thou the ECU module for the side steps.
Also today the RH side step just came out and stayed there, will not move now, it is just out and the LH is fixed in.

find out what number the fuse is and from there get a wiring diagram to find out what it goes to and if it blows constantly, disconnect everything on that circuit one at time to find out what is causing it to blow. if possible buy a 10 amp circuit breaker so it will reset and you don't have to buy new fuses.

Default Side Steps, Running Boards

Any idea where the side step/running board module is located?
