I have never seen it in an SUV but it is common in vans.

My father still holds onto a fully customized van that he had made when I was growing up to fit the eight member family. It is extended in length with two tables, swiveling captains chairs throughout (except for the rear bench), a raised roof for head room and a lot more. He really did it first class and used an ambulance chasis to support it, an ambulance engine to power it, two gas tanks for range, custom interior lighting, TV, nice carpet and wood, etc.

It is an ideal vehicle for long trips although he doesn't use it much anymore. I should take pictures one of these days and post it.

 

Do you know if anyone makes something like that stock. Even without the table, just four chairs facing each other?
