I just posted about getting a 2004 RR but forgot to ask a quick question. It only has one key and I was wondering where I could get a replacement and what thecost might be.

Any help would be appreaciated.

 

If I recall correctly.....'04 will let you be able to get a recut key at a dealer. My '01 apparently is handcut in England and the RKE handset + key runs $185 plus shipping. For the '04, it should be significantly cheaper and without the 3 week wait period since there's no pond to cross.

Go to ebay and buy a uncut key they are soo much cheaper than dealer and take that key to the dealer they should be able to cut it. it cost me about $50 to get cut there[/align]

 

Can't do that with my 2001

 

its an 04 Range Rover? or disco? RR will have to be ordered at dealer looking about a month. then have to be programmed no sure of cost. discovery 2 key can be cut and programed at dealer.
