Default SRS Light on '06 RR HSE keeps coming on...

We have had our Certified Pre-Owned RR HSE for nearly 2 years. About a month ago the SRS light came on. Took it to the dealer, they found a "series of faults", reset, gave it back to us. Had the vehicle for 3 days, light comes back on. Take it back to the dealer, they replace the SRS module, give it back. One day later, light comes back on. Take it BACK to the dealer (an hour drive - one way). They keep it for 2 weeks. Replace said module again, drive the vehicle. They tell me the light is off, hasn't come back on. Pick it up. Have it for 12 hours, light comes back on.

What is going on here? Anyone have this same issue? Any thoughts? The dealer is coming to pick it up today....

it almost sounds like a short of some kind. I had the same light come on in mine and they replaced the SRS module but the lights never came back on. hmmm

Not sure on an '06 but the older ones typically had look connections under the seat.

Thanks, Chris. I did a little research yesterday and found that very information. Not sure why they haven't checked that....or, if they have, the haven't mentioned it to me. They are supposed to be coming to swap me out today, so I'm going to mention it then.

I appreciate both responses, though! Thanks!

May want to check and clean the connections to the seat belts, those use to give D2 owners the fits.

Huh....interesting. Never thought about the seat belts. We had a D2 prior to this vehicle. Loved that thing!! We'll check it out, see if it makes any difference.
