Default Steering wheel volume controls

Does anyone know how to remove the cluster of buttons on the steering wheel that controls the volume? I have a 04 RR and the volume control buttons don't work. I can't find anything in the service manual.

See attached schematic, check fuse 5 before digging deeper. You would probably have to look at the workshop manual for Restraint Systems, and the rotary coupler.

Thanks for the fuse location. I couldn't find the fuse in the manuals I have that would include the volume controls. Even #5 is referred to for "Engine management and Diagnostics." Is that right I have no other engine management problems.

Sorry, I did not look closely at the fuse number. It is actually number 9 on the same panel, but in the book it says:

F9 - 5 A - All Light Check Module, Brake pedal switch, Rotary coupler
