Default suspension lift

trying to get some good info on what type a lift I would need. I have a 1993 range rover needs new shoes pretty bad, have a set of 285X70X16. Need to know how much of a lift I would need or maybe down size to265X70X16 and make life easier and cheaper.

I would think a 2" lift would be more then enough for those tires.
If you want to get some info from a shop, get back to me and I'll send you a name and number to call, they can give you the exact info.

Thanks after posting I located a shop here, they said that new spring 2" over stock and strong than the stock springs , would work good, but you may still have some rubbing a 2" body lift or cutting would also make it work good. Now I'll just have to make this happen and see what would look and work better.

You are going to need at least a 3" inch lift to be comfortable with those tires. I have a 2" lift w/265 75 R16's and get minor rubbing occasionally while offroading (none on road). A 3 " lift (from Rovertym for best results height wise) will let you slide those pups in (no trimming). You WILL have a dramatic loss of power with those big meats on there - you have a 3.5 liter I believe, my 3.9 took a hit with the tires when I upsized...
