Ok everyone, need help ASAP.

Looking at a 1997 4.0. White with Tan. 187,000 miles. Known issues; Air Suspension doesnt work, Sunroof does not open and check engine light is on. It runs fine though......

Do I buy? I have owned other Land Rovers and understand the basics and the work.

I want something to drive in the winter and such....

Any help and opinons are appreciated.

Plug in a scanner and read the codes, and watch the live data coolant temp (don't trust dash gauge). Some people silicone seal the sunroof and forget it. Running, not overheating on a short drive and idle, no loud ticking noises, plus there is a what to look for list in our tech area, some applies to the Rangie. At that price your are not too far above boneyard crusher price. Underside - rust, rust, and more rust? Low price is nice, but you may want to be sure that the basics are sound so you can fix other things up.
