Default Transfer Case Needed

Hey guys my indy has confirmed that I need a new transfer case. I found one at Car Cannibal for $995 and Roverland for $1,225 that has a new chain and torque test viscous. Has anyone found a rebuilt transfer case for less from a reputable company. In doing some research on Car Cannibal they have a reputation for not paying people in selling their vehicles for parts. Now that I am on the other side of the transaction with type of reputation, I am put off with dealing with them because they probably will not honor their 6 month warranty. So, in short I need a transfer case does anybody know of any company that will not brake the bank?

What is wrong with your present one? If its just the chain, it shouldn't be to hard to repair. BTW, hows your 5 series doing? I've been thinking about selling my current daily driver for one.

Well the truck needs a new chain and a viscous coupling so it's cheaper to buy a used or rebuilt one because I have located a shop to rebuild both. As far as the Bimmer it runs great. I have owned it for three years and put over 100k on it. I wouldn't trade the that car for nothing. Hopefully after fixing this truck I will feel the same about the Range.

Faithful Bimmer fan trying to join the LR family.
