Default Warning Lights

Just wondering if when you turn the engine on, are there supposed to be warning light on ? I only get the oil light witch goes off and the battery light with also goes off. No other light come on, is this bad ?

once the engine starts they should all go off, you should also have a service engine light on key on, not running

What year truck are you talking about.
Should be more then 2 lights that come on every time you start the engine then go off.

Its a 1995 Classic. Ya I thought I should get SRS and at least ABS lights, but no. I do also get a little F with a thermo symbol, but it goes out right away.
