Default 02 Disco HSE problem

I was wondering if anybody might know what causes a whistling sound (almost like a tea pot). The noise is coming from the passenger side dash area. There is no smells or wetness. It happens at Highway speed. A little background, it may be unrelated, the vehicle has 75000 miles all service has been done. Prior to this sound the stereo was making some noise which I thought might be the alternator going out, stereo off, no noise. Any input would be most appreciated.
Also the antifreeze was low and it was making a gurgling sound on passenger side as well. No steam out the exhaust or noticeable foam in the oil. will be changing that tonight after work.

Thanks

Worry about a possible coolant leak first, you need to do a coolant system pressure test to find the leak before you over heat the engine.

I've got it scheduled for tomorrow. Thanks Disco Mike

Any advice on installing a 3" lift on a 1996 D1. I've got Rovertym Springs, Radius arms and trailing arms w/ bilstein 16 3/4" shocks. Other than the front drive shaft is there anything else I should change? Thanks again
