Default 02 disco ii. i need help

I have an 02 disco ii. coils, plugs and wires have 3000 miles on them. last week i got a #3 cylinder misfire that cleared up in about 10 min. truck ran fine until today and im getting a #1 cylinder misfire. i have found that the throttle body heater/flange is leaking coolant onto the valve cover right above #1 and #3 and coolant is getting on the wires. 2 questions: could that coolant on plug wires be the cause of misfire and i live in a hot climate and am wondering if i can bypass the throttle body heater? please help

Probably not the cause of your misfires, but you can bypass it with the horseshoe bend in a quarter inch piece of copper tubing

Doesn't take long to get familiar with it. Then it gets pretty simple.
I would expect to find some leaking injectors or something silly like that that might explain both issues

Park your Disco in a totally , yes totally dark place , black as a power out .. start the engine , and look at the wires and coil , you will actually see all the leaks ( if any ) then you will know what to change as well .

glad you found the throttle body heat, I don't think it is your only problem though.
kind of hard for coolant from the exterior to cause a plug to misfire, especially if you have new plugs and wires on there already.
