Default '03 Disco aux fan replaced but not coming on with AC

Hey gang,
Replaced my seized aux fan (using the excellent write up I found here) and it kicked on at 212 as expected. However it's not coming on with the AC engaged. Temp rarely gets above 204, but my understanding was that it was supposed to run anytime the compressor was engaged. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

What's the ambient temperature?

The ambient temp needs to be above 70 or 75ºF (I forget where exactly), and the A/C compressor needs to be engaged, for the fan to come on with the A/C. If the compressor is engaged, your ambient temperature sensor might be at fault.
