Default 03 Freelander Ticking noise

I have a 03 freelander s. about 800 miles before i get my oil changed I hear a ticking noise from under the hood. It goes away when the car warms up, and after I have my oil changed. The noise is dirrectly connected to my gas pedal, becasue the rate of the ticking increases when the gas pedal is applied. I have tried to have it fixed to no avail. If anyone has had the same issue, I would appreciate your advice / story.

Thank you nad have agreat weekend

Ryan

Only 2 things that will make that ticking sound, an exhaust leak, may a broken exhaust or manifold or a internal engine noise.
You need to open the hood and search around a little to get a better idea.
