Does anyone know of a reasonable (Good) mechanic in Houston. I have an 03 RR and just need to have a good mechanic on standby in case i need him/her..... Took my truck to RR houston north at 74500 miles (Before ext warranty was up) and advised that the ck coolant level light was on....They said they topped it off anf ran a pressure test on it.....No leakage....Well now at 75400 (After warranty) it comes on again and this time they tell me the water pump is leaking.......

 

I don't know of a good tech in that area, given the fact I am in Washington, but I will tell you to have your mechanic check in the valley of the block. There is a water gallery sealing plate that is prone to leaking and when it does, coolant can dribble down over the water pump and make it look as if the water pump is leaking.
