Hello all...

I have a unigue situation with my 04 Discovery SE.

I purchased it in October of 08, 3 months later the engine blew and had to be replaced (fortunately under extended warranty, cost me $100 out of pocket).

My gf uses it as a daily driver and it is just now at 60K. I know that there is a major service due at 60K and not being very technical would assume that the fact that the engine only has 10K on it that this would reduce the items on the list..

I plan to have my personal mechanic do the work as the warranty expires in a month and I would like someone who has my best interest in mind to look the car over before I am on my own with repairs. Plus it will be much cheaper than at the dealership.

Does anyone out there know what items I should address with this service considering the new engine? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
