I have a 04 SE. I’ve had this issue off and on, seems to occur more warmer weather than cold. Everything worked ok when purchased (but I think previous owner was having same issue as the radio needed reset) for a month or two then I would get in start to turn the key and power would go out. Open hood remove the negative touch negative connector to battery terminal spark put on and interior light on and it would start. Seems to occur in warmer weather vs colder weather and for weeks at a time then it will be fine.

Also when putting the key in the door and turning back to lock the power will go out. Same battery process.

More recently I’ve discovered I can pull the battery forward without disconnecting it and it will start. It been tiring as it seems lately I’m doing this process 90% of the time.

Somewhere there seems to be a short, maybe shorting by the battery (the negative cable seems a little short but maybe it was made that way I dk, or is it the ignition and door lock system.
