First, I've been trying to download the manuals but can only find manuals for '95 or later.
Second, I think the '94 is a Discovery I but I am not sure. How can I find this out?
Third, I think I have a vacuum hose problem. My LR drives GREAT on the freeway but when I come to a stop light the engine seems to surge and then stall. It has no problem starting. Someone told me that one of the vacuum hoses is on backwards. How can that be - a hose is a hose (right?).

The diagram of hoses under the hood is very, very faded and we can not read it. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know about anything else but there should be a plate in the door frame stating the year. I know my 98 Disco has one in the engine bay. Also tells you where it was built.
