I have just purchased a beat up 95 discovery 4.0 to use as a plow truck. It ran and drove great ((stuck in 4high) crawling through swamps in the woods. Previous owner “modified” ignition to work with a screw driver because the key had to be jiggled just right to start. After he made the modification he started experiencing problems with the fuel pump not turning on he said. Some days it would start and some days it wouldn’t and you couldn’t here then pump run. When I went over to look at it we check the spark plugs and they didn’t have any spark either. Any help in what direction to go would be appreciated. Will Be doing what I can to get it running before the snow starts to fly in eastern Canada (Nova Scotia). Thanks in advance, I am clearly new to this forum.
