I am looking at a 1995 Range Rover lwb this weekend to purchase. It does have the tailgate rust as well as rust on the rear door jambs. Has anyone fixed this before, and what did it cost you? Also is there any shops recommended in the norfolk, VA area?

How did the sills look. Did you crawl under to take a look at the boxed section that runs under the doors? Did you pull up the carpets in the front to see how the floors looked. How about under the spare tire and behind the CD changer or the body crossmember where the lower tailgate hinges mount.

The stuff you're showing in the pictures is minor. The real cancer is usually pretty well concealed.
