Default 1995 Range electrical issues IDEAS>?

Hey,

I'm having some trouble among startup and i need some ideas of what kind of shop to take it to or what to do
?

Among startup, dashboard LCD screen says

EAS FAULT (BEEP BEEP BEEP)
ALTERNATOR FAULT (car runs fine and starts everytime?)
SUNROOF BLOCKER (????) works fine

Then when i take my key out and open the door in constantly beeps and says "IGNITION KEY IN"

But its obviously not and it goes off after a few seconds when the drivers door shuts...

so any help would be appreciated or some ideas?

Thanks!

I'll assume your's isa '95 p38 (like my '96).
Is your suspension the original air spring? (bags) or is it converted to mechanical coil springs?
If original, does the suspension drop/ drive on the bumpstops? (bottomed out) or leak down frequently? (mine did)
The EAS (electronic air suspension ) has it's own computer.
Itcan be a booger but there's new free software to help (I've got it & used it)
If these messages your getting(EAS, alternator, sunroof) seem to be for no good reason, My first guess would be Bad connections (Grounds usually, and the most popular is under the engine compartment fusebox pass side).

These trucks can overwhelm you, but break it down to simple tasks & they're no worse than any other, yet far better than most.
They hold no magic mechanically, and the electical is usually poor/dirty connections.

Get back to us & describe your truck and symptoms in detail, sombody's been/there-done/that

You might search our & other posts, as alot of us do things the hard way first. but the info's out there

P.S. - Mine often reminds me to remove the key as I'm exiting w/key in hand (but Not after I shut the door)
