Default 1995 waterpump v-8. Need help to locate/replace!

Hi all, and thanks for the opportunity to post on your forum.

My girlfriend's 95 RR is leaking coolant around the waterpump, and-assuming it needs replacement-is this a factory-only item? I checked an aftermarket parts store and not available. Any other sources of pumps either new/used or rebuilt?

My final question is:
Is this a relatively easy thing to replace? I have always replaced waterpumps, starters, head gaskets, etc. on my vehicles so I'd love to help her out and save her some money.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Blue skies!
David

I have had good luck with atlantic british. Their web address is: www.roverparts.com. Their phone number is (800)533-2210.

I think the part you need is: STC4378 (replacement) $139.95 or STC4378G (Genuine) $197.95. Look at the notes in the listing regarding the engine type, and the belts, thermostat, etc. My advice is to at least do the belt at the same time.

The job isn't too big, but will get a little messy because of the fluid.

Hope this helps.
