Sam, you can call your Range Rover whatever you like as long as you're prepared to sift through the different answers you're going to get. People usually call your Range Rover model a P38 as that was the production code number given to it during its development. That separates it from the Range Rover Classic which preceded your truck and the L322 that came after.

Now, going back to your issue. I think you're definitely on the right track. I'm not sure what the link you posted is for but it appears to be broken, at least when I tried it. You should go here:

Download all the manuals. You will find an ETM for your specific truck with an entire section, E6 devoted to trouble shooting the radio. At least you'll have schematics to follow.

According to the book I have it's behind the panel that covers the rear Pass/side cargo cover wall. I will have to look at my other post someone gave me a link to all the shop manuals.

 

The clutch coil is a unit and when you pull the pulley it is one piece you will be left wits the compressor and a stubby shaft that is usually keyed. See if you have a Robin Air dealer or Red Line parts vendor in your area they will have an aftermarket clutch for you. When you install it push it over the key by hand and then install the belt and energize it (turn on AC so clutch locks) and torque it Not sure what the torque is but it should be the same as a Ford or Chevy with the same type compressor.
