My Batt and Alt are a year old. Just started having issues with what I believe is the switch. I have just started to heavily use my A.C. M & S lights dont come on until after A.C. use. And not every time. Although the "D" light on the dash or the "R" light on the dash are delayed some times in coming on. However goes into gear fine every time.I use A.C. than sometimes get M & S. Thoughts??? Clearly the switch right??? And if it goes into gear without issues would it be safe to dive if I dont use A.C. or can the switch fail while driving? Need to go a distance to repair and would cost a fortune to tow it.

 

Just because batt and alt are a year old doesn't mean they are good.

get them tested first.
