2000 Range Rover SUPER LOCKOUT
This car is a great car but does not run. The car was wrecked a few years ago and it was the best car we ever had, that is until...
It went into superlock mode!
Now every Rover person that is reading this, knows what a problem it can be. Ours seems to be worse than normal. The engine is good, and runs great if I can get it unlocked. The superlock triggered a security feature that disabled the engine.
Our last attempt was to replace the crankshaft sensor. It is possible a new body harness could fix it. It shows fuse errors, so we do not know if this is a short causing it. We no longer have the remote (that didn't work either).
Can anyone help?

if you don't know the system then don't throw parts at the vehicle. For the love of god people learn your vehicles before throwing parts at them. What the hell do you think us techs have to do.
Oh and sounds like a BECM but you need diagnosis and a new part and reprogramming. Only a dealer can unlock the issues.
bet the heater core orings been leaking all over the carpet and ruined the becm.

You are so right. Unfortunately we have been using a so called "tech" who seems clueless as to how to fix it. That is why we are so frustrated. So far you are the only one who has given us any good leads and hope again. Thank you for the reply, I can appreciate your frustration but we have tried our best to get help without any success, including the dealership. They have new techs but have not helped.
