i have a 2001 discovery II 4.0L i replaced my brake light switch and still had same problems... when i turn my rover on, the brake lights are always on... so i changed the switch, problems still exist. i also pulled the switch off and then tested by pressing the switch... when the switch is pressed the lights are off... when the switch is depressed the lights come on... so i know the brake light switch works... what could be making them stay on when the switch is installed? any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my personal vehicle.
