Default 2001 Discovery II Problems

My Disco 2 high temperature light just came on but the needle is pinned to the bottom, pulled over checked for over heating and found nothing. When to start it back up and now it won't start?

Do some digging around on the Interweb about the D2 cooling system. Tons of info out there. One of the main points is the factory temp gauge is complete crap.

It doesn't crank? Or doesn't run? Do the hoses feel hard? I'm assuming you've checked coolant level. Any bubble sounds? Have you maintained this truck or is this a new purchase? Gonna need more information to try and even pinpoint a problem.

l Difficult cold start.
l Difficult hot start.
l Driveability concern.
l MIL illuminated.
l Instrument cluster temperature warning lamp illuminated.
