So this morning when I was stopped to meet someone in a parking lot to pick up some parts for my mini cooper I turned my D2 off and then just turned the key enough to roll the windows down and they wouldnt roll down then I started the vehicle and the M S lights started flashing but then went away after restarting the car and havent come on since. The battery hasnt been replaced in a long while and am wondering if that might be the case?

 

Clean your terminals really good & meter your battery voltage. With the engine off it shouldn't be any less than 12.5v & with the engine running it shouldn't be any lower than 13.2v.
