electric noise
the lr has only 77,000 miles on. the head gaskets and other gaskets been replaced. the oil is been changed, the air conditioner has a new motor, the brake pad and rotor been replaced, everything done this past month by landrover and another qualified technician. But as soon as they fixed everything the passenger front door lock is not opening and the noise inside the dash on the left driver side started. It sounds like electric wave or noise. I replaced the battery for my opener and it seems that it has something to do with that because the remote control is not activating . another words sometimes makes connection and others dont. Please tell me what u think .

yes, with the door i was told by lr its the actuator, sometimes the rest of the doors open but other times the opener and the truck dont contact with each other and the light for the opener does not even light up and it has a new battery in it. but the sound coming from the dash board in the drivers side is what i am concerned about.
can you help me. Thank you

When I read your post this morning, the first thing I thought of was the fan for the inside air temperature sensor. To the left of where your steering column goes into the dash, there is a small square box with fins cut into it (about 1" x 1"). Is the noise coming from there? Take a piece of flexible hose, with one end in your ear to use as a stethoscope to help determine from where the noise is coming.

thank you for your recommendation about the electrical noise,i'll check on it, but what you think could be the problem with the remote control that sometimes open the truck and makes a noise like if an electric antenna is closing down, someothers is like is no contact and the light from the remote dont even come on.
