Default 2003 RR HSE - Head Gasket or???? comments are appreciated

I currently own a 2003 RR. It has approx 60k miles on it and as of this past friday my exhaust increased significantly and the coolant levels are down. Typically I would think head gasket although the temperature is staying fairly low and I dont beleive the 4.4 BMW motors were known for HG problems after such low mileage. I called the local dealer and they said there could be numerous areas where coolant is leaking. One other odd thing is that the interior of the Cab smells like burning oil. It has been very cold out so I cant actually tell if the exhaust is white in color. Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else?

thanx,
DH

Most of us don't even know what color your RR is and you want us to answer a question about fluids??
What have you check so far?
I would suggest you get it into a mechanic and find out for sure what is going on.

Exhaust increased significantly?? Condensation??? or coolant, if you start it cold go to the rear of the truck if you smell a sickly sweet smell you may have an issue (remeber it is beginning to get cold outside). As far as the oil smell pull the upper cover off and see if the crank case breather hose has disintagrated its self (like powder rubber). As far as low cooland look for blue juice marks around aux water pumps and especially around the bleeder valve on the tank... scott
